Revamp of Garage Floor - With Perflex Polyaspartic Self-leveling Coating

Some old garage floors have problems like coating stripping, cracking, dust accumulation, scratches, joints expansion, etc.

This underground parking lot has been put into use for several years. The original epoxy floor coatings have faded, and there are large areas of cracking and empty spaces, which bring great inconvenience and security risks to the underground garage parking.

The customer put forward several requirements for maintenance solutions:

● The floor texture should be advanced, beautiful, and does not damage the wall and ground design.

● Reach Class A fire standard.

● Environmentally friendly materials, extremely low VOC or even zero VOC emissions, will not cause health issues to the owner during renovation.

● Long service life, easy maintenance, there’ll be no empty space, delamination and peeling issues.

● Short construction period, need to construct by area.

In response to the above requirements, Perflex recommended the polyaspartic self-leveling coating system, and customized the construction method for the project, and successfully reformed the existing ground, which greatly avoided the common problems such as empty space and cracking of cement-based self-leveling layer or epoxy ground.
